What makes TRION’s leisure power batteries different from standard lithium-ion options?
TRION uses advanced high-power Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) chemistry combined with a proprietary large-format pouch cell design. This results in higher usable capacity, faster charging and discharging, greater thermal stability, and longer cycle life compared to standard lithium-ion batteries. Unlike many alternatives sourced from mass production in Asia, TRION batteries are cell-to-pack made in Germany , the only company in our target markets’ to do so.
How long do these batteries last?
TRION batteries are designed for endurance. They deliver up to 4,500 full-depth charge and discharge cycles, far exceeding conventional lead-acid batteries and standard lithium-ion solutions. Depending on usage, this can translate to 10 years or more of dependable service in real-world applications.
Are these batteries compatible with my existing system?
In most cases, yes. TRION LFP batteries are designed to serve as a drop-in replacement for Group 31 lead-acid batteries and are compatible with many existing 12V systems. However, for best performance and system safety, we recommend verifying specifications or consulting with our technical team before installation.
How fast do these batteries charge?
TRION leisure sport batteries are engineered for rapid charging. With a maximum continuous charge current of 150A and a maximum charge of 15.6V, our batteries can reach full capacity in under one hour, much faster than typical lithium-ion or lead-acid units. Full charge times are significantly reduced, depending on the charger used and system setup.
